Johnston McLamb has been awarded a prime contract to provide user experience research for the Army Knowledge On-Line portal. AKO is the single gateway to Army knowledge for all Army active duty, reserve, civilian, and guest personnel and operates 24 x 7 x 365.

The Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) announced on Monday, June 28, 2004 that Johnston McLamb had been selected by the Great Places to Work® Institute (GPTWI) as one of the top 25 small companies to work for in America. Johnston McLamb was one of only two companies in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area to make the list of top 25 small companies and our 11th place overall ranking made us the highest-rated small company to work for in the Washington area.

In November 2004, three Johnston McLamb employees, Prathibha Boregowda, Bill Knecht and Cindi Roden, received an award from one of our major customers for their outstanding work on the customer's Fleet Card system.

Johnston McLamb is pleased to announce it was awarded a multi-year contract to provide analysis, design, development and implementation support to the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) Grain Inspection, Packers and Stockyards Administration (GIPSA). Johnston McLamb will re-engineer and re-platform up to twenty-eight multi-platform GIPSA legacy systems that are in place today.
