Johnston McLamb Receives SmartCEO Award for Fast Growth
Chantilly, VA—January 1, 2010 — Washington SmartCEO magazine has recognized Johnston McLamb as one of the 50 fastest-growing companies in the Greater Washington area, based on employee and revenue growth. Each year, Washington SmartCEO magazine recognizes Washington, D.C., area companies and owners for impressive revenue and employee growth over a three-year period. The Future 50 awards will be presented at a black tie dinner and awards ceremony January 28, 2010 at the Hyatt Regency Crystal City, Arlington, VA. Johnston McLamb is being recognized for nearly doubling employees from 101 in 2006 to 170 in 2009. Revenue for 2009 was approximately $34 million, representing a consistent and significant year-over-year increase.

Also in 2009, Johnston McLamb hired seasoned government contracting Chief Financial Officer David Acton and moved its corporate headquarters to a Class A office building in the Westfields corporate office park, the largest office park in Fairfax County, VA.
